Fundraising is a key activity for the Trustees and Management Committee. Our lovely hall, now nearly 100 years old, requires ongoing maintenance and updates to meet the expectations of our visitors and hirers. We are blessed to have support from those that attend our many events and support our 100 Club, but in addition we also regularly apply for support from organisations who wish to invest in community buildings that deliver real impact in their area.

Following successful applications we have recently been awarded a number of grants that will continue to improve the facilities at the hall.

In August 2025 the Tysoe Flower Show & Fete kindly donated £200 towards much-needed improvements to the gents bathrooms.

Charging the Future of our Hall

In August 2025 we were again the grateful beneficiary of a grant, for £4,715, from Stratford-on-Avon District Council to install batteries as part of our Net Zero project, reducing energy costs through the installation of solar panels and associated equipment.

Kitchen refurbishment

In July 2025 the Stour Valley Lions Club very kindly donated £628 towards the purchase of replacement refrigerator and freezer appliances for our kitchen refurbishment.

In June 2025 The 29th May 1961 Charitable Trust provided £3,000 towards the refurbishment of the kitchen.

Don't get cold feet!

In March 2025 the Stratford-on-Avon District Council Community Climate and Nature Fund most generously donated £2,152 towards the purchase and installation of destratification fans for our main hall - helping us towards Net Zero - AND warmer feet!

A warm kitchen!

In August 2024 the Tysoe Flower Show & Fete kindly donated £300 towards the installation of a new infra-red space heater for the hall kitchen. Now, the ladies of the WI and the Lunch Club and Community Cafe teams can be toasty warm during the colder months
