Tysoe Village Hall Opera Club

Approximately four times a year, as the seasons change and as part of our regular events the village gather together at the hall to watch a world-class opera.

What can we expect?

We enjoy an uplifting opera, a glass of wine or a freshly made tea or coffee in a relaxed village atmosphere. Our high quality audio-visual equipment provides an immersive experience, with a large screen and surround sound. We always have at least one interval, to enjoy an ice cream and to stretch our legs.

Care to eat with us?

We serve, as an optional extra, a seasonal plate of food before the opera screens. Made in our lovely new kitchen, the hall team will serve you from 6:00pm, allowing plenty of time to eat and enjoy before settling down to enjoy the performance at 7:30pm

The menu for the screening is within the ticket option. Please check what we are offering and please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book, through the "your message for the merchant" box during checkout. We need seven clear calendar days before the event to ensure we can meet any requests.

What's the timing?

The hall will open at 6:00pm, with service starting soon thereafter. This gives diners plenty of time to eat, ready to join those not dining with us who will arrive in the main hall from 7:00pm, ready for our usual curtain-up time of 7:30pm

How do I book?

Please see below for OPERA only, or OPERA & FOOD ticket options.

NOTE: If you don't see a OPERA & FOOD option, we have either sold out of food, or passed the cut off date.

Already made plans for dinner?

No problem, the main hall will still be open from 7:00pm to welcome regular opera goers - the curtain goes up at 7:30pm

And finally...

Wine, tea, coffee and ice cream are always ready and waiting - for everyone!
