We SO enjoyed ourselves in 2025 - we are going to do it again in 2026!

Saturday 25th January 2025 saw a wonderful Burns Night at Tysoe Village Hall and a time to enjoy Scottish traditions and celebrate the renowned poet Robert Burns with a classic combination of a sumptuous smoked salmon starter followed by haggis, neeps, tatties, all the right Scottish traditions and a warming dram (or two). The evening had a relaxed village atmosphere - more like having old friends around for dinner. After the welcome, the addresses and meal, we enjoyed the formalities of the toasts and then it was time for dancing! Renowned musicians the Cat's Whiskers serenaded us through two hours of Scottish Dancing, playing on violin, accordion and keyboard whilst their experienced caller Margaret had everyone up on the floor twirling to many dances. Some were more successful at keeping step than others...
