The National Garden Scheme

Giving visitors unique access to over 3,500 exceptional private gardens in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

All whilst raising impressive amounts of money for nursing and health charities.

Thanks to the generosity of garden owners, volunteers and visitors they have donated over £74 million to nursing and health charities and in 2024 made an annual donation of over £3.5 million. Their core beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and The Queen’s Nursing Institute.

On the 5th and 6th July 2025 NGS has nine great Tysoe gardens for you to enjoy, various sizes and styles which show the diversity of our village. Wildlife friendly garden inspired by creativity; cottage garden with arts and crafts; a cottage garden with pond and shady area; large organically managed walled kitchen garden, re-imagined with many artistic features; renovated cottage garden; the red horse of Tysoe; a Japanese inspired garden; newly created cottage style garden, just 2 years old; small steep garden with different levels.

Tysoe Village Hall is delighted to be supporting this fundraising event, offering a central location for visitors to the village to have a comfortable "pit stop" to rest their feet and enjoy homemade cake, made and served by members of Tysoe WI and Village Friends, washed down with freshly made tea and coffee.

We are offering the opportunity for stall holders to present their horticulturally-inspired products to what will be a high foot-fall event, spread over two days. Stalls will be located around the main hall, allowing the opportunity for those resting to have a good look at your offerings.

Stall holder options include one and two day tickets. The public will be visiting between 2:00pm and 6:00pm, with stand build and break down outside of these times.

Costs are as follows:

One day : £20

Two days : £30
